Job Summary
This role involves managing electrical engineering projects for the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG), a prestigious organization maintaining UNESCO World Heritage sites. You will be responsible for overseeing investment measures, developing energy-saving concepts, and managing the maintenance and inspection of electrical systems. Day-to-day tasks include creating financial plans, conducting technical assessments, and supervising both internal projects and external service providers. This position is unique because it combines modern electrical engineering with the preservation of historical landmarks. The role offers excellent work-life balance through flexible working hours, up to two days of remote work per week, and a public service contract (TV-L) that includes a 13th-month salary and additional pension benefits.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur FH or Bachelor) or a Master Craftsman (Meister) certification in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- At least 1 year of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering
- Professional experience specifically in high-voltage/heavy current systems
- Experience in creating technical reports and condition assessments for electrical installations
- Experience with electrical calculation programs and bidding software (AVA)
- Experience in managing construction projects and supervising external contractors
