Job Summary
As a GIS Data Manager at Stadtwerke Lingen, you will play a critical role in the digital representation and management of regional utility infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will center on the documentation and maintenance of network data for electricity, natural gas, heat, and drinking water systems. You will ensure that geographic information systems (GIS) accurately reflect the physical assets of the utility provider, supporting both operational reliability and strategic planning. Required Skills
Education
Degree or vocational training in Geoinformatics, Surveying, Technical Documentation, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in GIS data management or geoinformatics
- Experience in the documentation of utility networks (electricity, gas, water, or thermal energy)
- Proficiency in handling technical documentation and spatial datasets
