Job Summary
As a GIS Data Manager at Stadtwerke Lingen, you will play a central role in managing the digital infrastructure for electricity, gas, heat, and water utilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining and quality-assuring geospatial and asset data, documenting construction measures, and advancing the company's GIS system landscape (specifically Hexagon). You will bridge the gap between technical data and business intelligence by creating spatial analyses, dashboards, and reports that support asset management and executive decision-making. This role is highly focused on digitalization, requiring you to build automated data flows and refine data models. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training or a university degree in Geoinformatics, Surveying, Infrastructure Management, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in handling GIS systems, preferably Hexagon
- Proven experience in managing geodata, data models, and databases
- Experience in the documentation of construction and investment measures
- Practical experience in creating spatial analyses and technical reporting
- Experience in developing digital interfaces and automated data flows
