Job Summary

As a Service Engineer for Emission Measurement Systems, you will be responsible for the quality assurance and technical maintenance of particle measurement technology. Your daily activities involve preparing new systems for commissioning, performing repairs and calibrations in an in-house laboratory, and providing technical support to clients via phone, remote access, or on-site visits in the Frankfurt area. You will also play a key role in product improvement by collaborating with project managers and field service teams, as well as conducting training sessions for internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys a mix of laboratory work and customer interaction. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering (Measurement, Electrical, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering) or a certified Technician qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in measurement, electrical, or process engineering
  • Experience in maintenance, repair, and calibration of technical equipment
  • Proven ability in customer service and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience in conducting technical training or product demonstrations
  • Qualified as an electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft) or equivalent through academic studies

Languages

English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must be a qualified electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft). Requires willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support in the Frankfurt region.
