Job Summary

This role involves providing critical field service for advanced fuel cell and battery testing systems across the Central Germany region. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the on-site maintenance, repair, and calibration of test benches, ensuring high-quality performance for clients. Beyond technical upkeep, you will handle the commissioning of new systems and conduct quality control procedures. The position requires a high degree of customer interaction, offering technical support both in-person and remotely, and delivering specialized training sessions for internal and external stakeholders. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Measurement Technology, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a completed Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of battery or fuel cell test systems is highly preferred
  • Practical experience in electrical engineering or as a certified electrical specialist
  • Experience in on-site customer service and technical troubleshooting
  • Proven background in maintenance, repair, and commissioning of industrial machinery or test benches

Additional

  • Qualification as an Electrotechnical Specialist (Elektrotechnische Fachkraft) is a significant advantage. Willingness to travel within the Central Germany region for on-site client visits is required.
