Job Summary
As a Sales Engineer specializing in Energy Technology, you will serve as the critical technical interface between customers, sales teams, and development departments for an international engineering service provider. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing technical consulting and application support in the fields of power quality, network analysis, and energy monitoring. You will conduct product presentations and training sessions both on-site and online, while supporting the sales team in designing solutions and creating technical proposals. This role is unique for its blend of deep technical expertise and commercial strategy, allowing you to influence product development by feeding back market trends and customer requirements. You will also represent the company at trade fairs and webinars, ensuring high-quality support for existing clients while identifying new business opportunities. The position offers a permanent contract with 30 days of vacation and flexible working hours, making it an attractive choice for engineers who enjoy client interaction and travel.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of power quality, network analyzers, energy measurement technology, or industrial automation
- Experience in technical consulting and providing application support to customers
- Experience in conducting product presentations, system demonstrations, and training sessions
- Proven experience in technical sales support, including solution design and proposal preparation
- Experience working with CRM systems and MS Office
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, trade fairs, and events is required. Must have a valid work permit for Germany.
