Job Summary
This HSE Officer role is based at an FSRU-based LNG import terminal in Wilhelmshaven, focusing on managing the integrated HSEQ system and implementing ERP. The successful candidate will conduct and lead risk assessments, manage the Permit-to-Work system, and lead investigations into incidents and near misses. A key part of the role involves maintaining HSE registers, coordinating PPE procurement, and ensuring compliance with HSEQ policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management within heavy industries, who is eager to promote a robust HSE culture and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic, international setting.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering, Environmental and Occupational Safety, or a related field; Recognized qualification as a Safety Specialist (SiFa); Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards (advantageous)
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience as an HSEQ Manager or HSE Coordinator in the oil and gas industry, petrochemicals, energy generation, or a production/logistics/transport company
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and its practical implementation
- Experience in creating and maintaining documentation related to integrated HSEQ management systems
