Job Summary

As a (Junior) Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the microbiological purity testing of active ingredients, raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products. Your daily routine involves the microbiological determination of antibiotics, the preparation and qualification of culture media, and the qualification of laboratory equipment. You will play a key role in the validation and transfer of microbiological methods while ensuring all activities are recorded through GMP-compliant documentation. This position also involves supporting the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and general laboratory maintenance. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in microbiological purity testing of raw materials and pharmaceuticals is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the field of microbiological value determination of antibiotics and germ identification is ideal.
  • Practical experience working within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Experience in independent laboratory work and collaborative team settings.
