Job Summary

This role is for a System Development Engineer focusing on measurement and control systems for scientific facilities and equipment at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from client interaction and component selection to programming and GUI development. Key responsibilities include developing electronic measurement, control, and regulation systems, creating programs for experimental control and data acquisition, and implementing smart systems with easy maintenance and remote control. This position requires strong technical skills in programming, Linux systems, and networking, combined with an analytical and independent work style. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience
