Job Summary
This role involves serving as the primary technical lead for the Meppen municipal utilities department, specifically within the public works yard. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diverse municipal facilities, focusing heavily on measurement, control, and regulation technology (MSR) and PLC programming. As the designated 'Responsible Qualified Electrician' (VEFK) according to DIN VDE 1000-10, you will oversee safety inspections, troubleshoot complex electrical failures, and design modernization plans for city infrastructure. Beyond technical maintenance, you will manage electrical setups for public events and collaborate with a team of two other specialists. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman certificate in Electrical Engineering (Elektrotechnikermeister), preferably specializing in Energy and Building Technology or Automation and Systems Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of electrical maintenance and infrastructure
- Experience in PLC programming and control systems
- Proven experience in independent troubleshooting and fault rectification
- Experience in organizing and conducting electrical safety inspections
