Job Summary

As a System Security Manager at FERCHAU, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced security architectures and concepts for complex development projects. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting independent system security analyses, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests, followed by the derivation of strategic mitigation measures. You will play a pivotal role throughout the project lifecycle, from the bidding phase to execution, managing patch management and evaluating security products such as firewalls, SIEM systems, and security gateways. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, a comparable technical field, or equivalent professional qualification. Required certifications: Certified in Cybersecurity, IT-Grundschutz Practitioner, SSCP, or PJPT. Advanced certifications such as OSCP, HTB CPTS, or PNPT are highly desirable.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in IT security or system security management
  • Proven experience in creating security concepts and performing technical vulnerability assessments
  • Professional experience working with German Federal Defense standards (ZDv A-960/1, A-961/1, A-962/1, A-1130)
  • Experience in the configuration and validation of security products like diodes and firewalls
  • Experience collaborating with security authorities and external auditors
