Job Summary

As a System Test Engineer for Cab and Chassis at TRATON R&D, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functional safety and quality of driver comfort and cargo handling systems. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing comprehensive test concepts for networked vehicle functions, defining requirements for test environments, and creating automated test specifications. You will work across various testing levels, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) environments, using industry-standard tools from dSpace and Vector. This role is highly collaborative, requiring coordination with international teams across the TRATON Group (including Scania, MAN, and International) and external partners. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering. ISTQB Certified Tester / Agile Tester certification is considered advantageous.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software testing of cab or chassis functions within a total vehicle network
  • Proven experience working with HiL and SiL test environments
  • Practical experience in test automation using Python
  • Experience applying Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and process models like ASPICE
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers within the testing process
