Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position based in Potsdam-Babelsberg involves acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries within the German Broadcasting Archive (DRA). You will provide first-level support for both internal software applications and hardware equipment, while also managing cross-location ARD applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with central IT service providers like Hessischer Rundfunk, managing software licenses, documenting IT assets, and participating in technical projects. The role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys working in an agile environment and collaborating with diverse departments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), a degree in Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in 1st-level support, providing both in-person and remote assistance
- Experience in handling and troubleshooting computer hardware
- Experience working within an agile mindset and self-organized team structures
- Experience in collaborating with external IT service providers and infrastructure partners
- Initial experience in network technologies is preferred
