Job Summary

As a System Administrator at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Munich, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration and operation of the university's IT infrastructure. Your daily tasks will involve managing Windows and Linux server environments, overseeing Active Directory and Entra ID, and handling software deployment via MS Intune and Opsi. You will play a key role in the conceptual development of the IT landscape and lead infrastructure projects, such as SharePoint roll-outs. This position offers a balanced mix of high-level system management and direct user support, including First-Level support and Apple product maintenance. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in Computer Science, or equivalent verifiable qualifications.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT system administration is preferred
  • Experience with system management tools and ITIL standard processes
  • Proven track record in managing Windows 11 and Windows Server environments
  • Experience in network administration using HP or Aruba hardware
  • Demonstrated ability in conceptual IT development and infrastructure project implementation
