Job Summary

As a Linux Systems Engineer for the Trust Center and PKI infrastructure, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of highly secure IT systems central to the German notary system. Your day-to-day work involves managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Registration Authority, and production processes, with a strong focus on automation and security. You will ensure high availability and performance while maintaining technical documentation and standards. The role requires deep knowledge of Linux-based PKI environments, digital signatures, and hardware security modules (HSM). This position is particularly attractive because it offers the stability of a public-sector-adjacent organization (the Federal Chamber of Notaries) combined with a modern, non-bureaucratic work culture in central Berlin. You will benefit from flexible working hours, mobile work options, and extensive professional development opportunities within a mission-critical infrastructure environment.
