Job Summary

This high-level leadership role involves directing the 'Information Security' division within the Hessian Ministry of the Interior, Security, and Homeland Security. You will be responsible for both the personnel and technical management of the unit, coordinating fundamental information security matters across the Hessian state administration. Day-to-day duties include leading the state's Information Security Working Group, collaborating with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), and translating the CISO's strategic goals into operational Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). You will play a pivotal role in increasing cyber and IT resilience, overseeing the implementation of NIS-2 requirements, and managing IT risk and crisis response.
