As a Senior Hardware Developer, you will lead the design and development of electronic solutions for monitoring and diagnostic systems within the energy technology sector. Your daily responsibilities include conceptualizing analog and digital circuits, integrating sensor technology, and managing signal processing and power electronics. You will be responsible for creating schematics and PCB layouts, coordinating with suppliers for manufacturing, and developing low-level firmware in collaboration with the software team. This role is highly interdisciplinary, involving the commissioning of prototypes and performing rigorous EMC testing and error analysis. The position is particularly attractive due to its 35-hour work week, flexible working hours with mobile office options, and a permanent contract. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on microcontroller technology and measurement technology.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in circuit design, including sensor systems and power electronics
  • Experience in creating PCB layouts and coordinating with external manufacturing suppliers
  • Practical experience in low-level firmware programming using C/C++
  • Proven experience with EMC-compliant design and testing procedures
  • Professional experience in prototype commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical documentation
