Job Summary

As an Electrical Project Engineer specializing in 'Customized Control Systems and Rod Control,' you will join the software team in Erlangen to manage the technical execution of EPR sub-projects for a major corporate group. Your daily responsibilities will involve PLC programming using TIA Portal, managing cost calculations, and establishing project schedules. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, FMEA, and functional descriptions, while ensuring compliance with machine and industrial safety standards. The role involves significant client interaction during test planning and execution, as well as preparing for service missions in nuclear power plants. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes energy infrastructure projects within a structured corporate environment, requiring a blend of technical programming expertise and disciplined project management skills.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in project execution and management
  • Experience in programming PLCs using TIA Portal
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and safety assessments like FMEA
  • Experience working with machine safety and industrial safety standards
