Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator / IT Support Specialist at the Pestalozzi Children's and Youth Village, you will play a vital role in maintaining the digital infrastructure of a social organization with over 75 years of history. Your daily responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd level support for approximately 550 employees, managing Windows servers and clients, and overseeing Active Directory and network configurations. You will be responsible for system security, backups, and network maintenance including VPNs and firewalls, while also contributing to digitalization projects. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who wants to combine technical expertise with a meaningful social cause. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT System Administrator, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration
- Practical experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Client environments
- Experience in managing Active Directory and network technologies
- Initial experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred
