Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position within the Uelzena Group involves leading investment projects focused on energy and environmental management for a major food processing company. Day-to-day, you will manage internal and external project teams, coordinate with authorities and architects, and develop future-proof site concepts for process heat and media supply. A significant portion of the role focuses on energy monitoring, optimizing consumption patterns for steam, compressed air, and electricity, and implementing ISO 50001 energy management systems. You will also be responsible for applying for environmental subsidies and advancing measurement and control (MSR) technology. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys hands-on implementation and strategic planning. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences (e.g., Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Supply Engineering, or Process Engineering) or a completed technical qualification from a technical school with relevant production experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable position within a manufacturing company, preferably in the food or dairy industry
- Proven experience in project management and leading project teams
- Experience in planning energy generation and process media supply (heat recovery, waste heat utilization)
- Experience with operational data acquisition and energy monitoring systems
- Practical experience in coordinating with authorities, architects, and external service providers
