Job Summary
As a Civil Engineer for the City of Rottweil, you will play a pivotal role in preparing for the State Garden Show 2028. This full-time position involves the planning, tendering, and construction management of civil engineering and road construction projects within the public space. You will act as the client representative, overseeing external architectural and engineering firms across all HOAI service phases to ensure strict adherence to schedules, quality standards, and budgets. Beyond technical oversight, you will coordinate with authorities, experts, and property owners while contributing to the conceptual design of exhibition areas. This role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to leave a lasting mark on the infrastructure of Baden-Württemberg's oldest city. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master), State-certified Construction Technician, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Professional experience in managing external engineering and architectural firms
- Experience in road construction, infrastructure, or bridge building is highly desirable
- Proven experience with VOB, HOAI, and relevant DIN/EN standards
