Job Summary

This role involves performing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) on metallic components for Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth. As a Level 2 Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to detect cracks and defects. Day-to-day tasks include operating specialized crack detection equipment, defining and managing inspection records, and recording order data within SAP. You will also play a key role in analyzing internal and external quality issues and processing quality notifications. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., Aircraft Mechanic or Process Mechanic) with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or plastics and rubber technology
  • Mandatory Level 2 certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) according to EN4179 (Aviation standard)
  • Experience in defining and managing inspection records within a technical framework
  • Proven experience operating crack detection equipment (Magnetic Particle and Penetrant)
  • Experience working with SAP for performance and order data entry
