Job Summary

As a Lecturer at IU International University, you will bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application for dual students. Your primary focus will be delivering high-quality instruction in Java programming, web application development, software requirements engineering, and testing. You will lead interactive on-site tutorials and practical sessions, utilizing provided course materials while maintaining the creative freedom to shape the learning experience for small groups of up to 40 students. Beyond teaching, you are responsible for exam correction and supporting the personal and professional growth of your students. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional work experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experience in Java programming and web development projects
  • Previous experience in academic teaching, tutoring, or as a research assistant is preferred
  • Experience working with digital and innovative educational tools

English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must be available for on-site teaching in Bad Honnef or Berlin. This is a freelance lectureship starting July 1, 2026, involving 18 to 48 teaching units.
