Job Summary
As a Financial Accountant at Daniel Speyer GmbH in Heidenheim, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations for a diverse holding company representing over 10 firms across four industries. Your daily responsibilities include managing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, as well as handling asset accounting and preparing VAT returns. You will play a critical role in financial reporting by preparing monthly closures and assisting with year-end financial statements in coordination with tax consultants. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed commercial vocational training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or a comparable qualification with a focus on balance sheet accounting.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial or balance sheet accounting
- Professional experience in managing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Proven experience in preparing monthly financial statements and preparatory year-end closing tasks
- Demonstrated proficiency in using DATEV and MS Office in a professional setting
