Job Summary

As a Project Engineer or Electrical Technician specializing in medium voltage, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the e-mobility revolution. You will be responsible for the technical design, planning, and coordination of transformer stations, ensuring all installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with grid requirements. Your daily tasks involve managing projects from the initial offer phase through to commissioning, acting as a central point of contact for grid operators, authorities, and internal teams. You will ensure that all technical components meet strict VDE and DIN standards while managing risks, budgets, and timelines. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys technical problem-solving and wants to work at the intersection of renewable energy and infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or equivalent; ideally further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in medium voltage systems, transformer stations, or grid connection projects
  • Extensive experience working with VDE standards and technical connection conditions (TAB) of grid operators
  • Experience in project steering from the bidding phase through to technical commissioning
  • Proven track record in coordinating with external stakeholders, suppliers, and authorities

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to travel within Germany and Austria; knowledge of specific VDE-AR-N 4110 standards.
