Job Summary

As a Senior Consultant for SAP Utilities Energy Data Management (EDM), you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex time-series and balancing processes within the energy sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing and optimizing EDM and Master Data Management (MDM) process chains, including data validation, forecasting quality, and automation. You will lead technical implementations and designs within SAP IS-U, S/4HANA Utilities, and SAP PO/PI environments, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements like MaKo 2025 and Redispatch 2.0. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys driving innovation in transformation projects, such as migrating legacy systems to S/4HANA. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in Energy Data Management (EDM) working for utilities, network operators, metering point operators, or consultancies.
  • Extensive experience with energy market regulations and balancing processes such as MaBiS, GPKE/GeLi Gas, and WiM.
  • Professional experience in technical implementation and design within SAP environments (IS-U, EDM, S/4HANA).
  • Experience leading complex transformation projects and migrations.
  • Experience in conducting workshops and creating decision-making templates for stakeholders.
