Job Summary
This role involves the technical setup and ongoing maintenance of IT workstations within the Recklinghausen district administration. As an IT Service Expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware, including the installation, configuration, and rollout of PCs, notebooks, monitors, and mobile devices. Your daily routine will include providing first-level support both on-site and remotely, troubleshooting software issues, and managing service requests through a ticketing system. You will also play a key role in logistics, asset documentation, and internal office relocations. This position is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy hands-on technical work and direct user interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an IT or technical profession (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration or IT Systems Electronician).
Experience
- Professional experience in an IT or technical field, ideally with a focus on system integration
- Practical experience in the assembly and connection of IT workstations and peripheral devices
- Experience in direct user support and onsite desk-side services
- Experience in rollout and deployment activities for standard software and hardware
- Practical experience or basic knowledge of MDM-supported device management for mobile devices
Languages
Additional
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying loads up to 15 kg (IT equipment). Willingness to work across various administrative locations within the Recklinghausen district. Proficiency in German at C1 level or higher is mandatory.
