Job Summary
As the IT Infrastructure Team Lead for the City of Landshut, you will oversee the strategic and operational development of a complex IT environment supporting approximately 1,400 workstations. Managing a team of nine, you will ensure the stability and security of the data center, network technology, and software distribution systems. Your daily responsibilities involve leading technical staff, managing IT projects, and coordinating IT emergency management. This role is unique as it offers significant career progression potential due to the current organizational age structure and positions you as a deputy to the Head of Information Technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT-related field (e.g., Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma from a University of Applied Sciences).
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in information technology
- Proven experience in the management and administration of IT infrastructure and data centers
- Experience in leading and managing technical teams
- Practical experience in municipal IT environments and specialized public sector applications is preferred
- Experience in managing IT projects and implementing security concepts
