Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management of civil engineering structures for the municipal services of Suhl. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the prioritization, planning, and execution of maintenance measures for structures such as bridges or tunnels, often in coordination with road construction projects. Your daily tasks will include preparing tenders, creating bills of quantities, supervising construction sites, and performing technical inspections and damage analyses. You will also handle administrative duties such as contract management for tourist signage and issuing traffic law orders. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of technical office work and field service. It offers a stable, permanent full-time contract within the public service sector (TVöD E10), providing a secure career path with a salary range between approximately €53,000 and €73,500 per year.
Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences degree (Diplom-Ingenieur FH) or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably specializing in Road or Civil Engineering.
