Job Summary
As the Head of Human Resources for the City of Übach-Palenberg, you will take full responsibility for the HR division, leading a dedicated team to manage the city's workforce. Your day-to-day activities will involve strategic personnel and vacancy planning, overseeing recruitment and selection processes, and ensuring the accuracy of monthly payroll. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing the workplace by advancing digital HR projects and flexible working models like telecommuting. Additionally, you will handle occupational health and safety matters and manage complex individual HR cases. Required Skills
Education
Qualification for the general administrative service in North Rhine-Westphalia (Career Group 2, First Entry Level), or completed Administrative Training II (Verwaltungsfachwirt), or a comparable degree with a focus on HR management.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the public sector, preferably in HR
- Experience or demonstrated readiness to acquire and develop leadership skills
- Experience in handling complex administrative cases and personnel selection
- Experience in budget and vacancy plan management
