Job Summary
As a System Administrator at the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ) in Bonn, you will join a central service provider for the federal justice system with approximately 1,400 employees. Your daily responsibilities include the 2nd and 3rd-level technical support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical IT infrastructure. You will manage Dell servers, NetApp storage solutions, and VMware virtual environments, while also overseeing Windows and Linux operating systems. Key tasks involve administering Active Directory, Citrix environments, Microsoft Exchange, and specialized SINA management systems. This role is unique for its contribution to high-security national justice registers and workflow applications. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Natural Sciences with an IT focus; or a university degree in another field with relevant IT experience.
Experience
- Professional experience or knowledge in at least three of the following: NetApp, VMware, Citrix, IVANTI, Active Directory, Secunet, Exchange, Windows Server, or Linux
- Experience in 2nd and 3rd-level technical support and troubleshooting
- Experience in IT security and security systems
- Professional experience in system administration and monitoring
