As an Information and Communication Technology Specialist at Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy by managing and securing the backbone and access transport networks (MPLS-TP, DWDM, and SDH systems). Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or IT Specialist; or a University Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Communications Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the operational management of broadband wide area network (WAN) technologies from major manufacturers
  • Proven experience working within a Network Operation Center (NOC) environment
  • Experience in leading operational units and making sound decisions during fast-paced emergency situations
  • Practical experience in implementing and maintaining complex network services and hardware
