Job Summary
This role is centered on supporting control technology, particularly in the area of retrofitting systems for a growing family-owned mechanical engineering company. As an Electrical Hardware Designer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day development and construction of electrotechnical hardware solutions. This includes creating precise circuit diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and layout drawings using Eplan. You will play a critical role in selecting components and suppliers while ensuring all documentation meets strict safety standards and norms. Beyond technical design, you will analyze existing schematics for optimization and translate customer requirements into viable technical concepts. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, completed training as a State-Certified Technician (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electronics), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in hardware development and circuit plan design using Eplan
- Experience in handling electronic components and circuit simulations
- Proven experience in creating technical documentation and bills of materials
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing existing electrical schematics
- Background in translating customer requirements into technical concepts
