As a Development Engineer for Interior Electronics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of interior functions such as seating, steering wheel systems, and comfort features. Your daily responsibilities include the functional design and partitioning of hardware and software components, as well as managing the entire lifecycle of modular control units—from tendering and supplier selection to final release. You will work closely with module leaders to ensure that all project targets regarding cost, weight, quality, and deadlines are met. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in hardware and software development for electronic control units
  • Proven experience in E/E processes and supplier steering
  • Professional background in project management and functional partitioning
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN
  • Previous experience within the BMW group structure or interior environment is highly advantageous
