Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will play a critical role in quality assurance and product development by performing precise measurements for development projects, complaints, and series production orders. Your daily responsibilities involve creating initial sample inspection reports, measuring purchased parts against strict criteria, and analyzing manufacturing issues through metrological techniques. You will be responsible for preparing CAD data and developing CNC measurement programs, ensuring all work aligns with technical drawings, specifications, and legal standards. Required Skills

Education

Degree or certification as a Technician (State-certified), Metrology Technician, Automotive Technician, Materials Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technician, Metrology Technician, Automotive Technician, or Materials Technician
  • Experience in the independent creation and optimization of CNC measurement programs
  • Proven experience in 3D length measurement technology and free-form surface software
  • Experience in conducting capability studies and initial sample inspections (PPAP/EMP)
  • Experience in coordinating with external service providers and internal stakeholders
