Job Summary
As an IT Help Desk Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for user support inquiries, responsible for pre-qualifying issues and escalating complex cases to 2nd level support. Your daily routine involves configuring and deploying end-user devices, managing central patch systems, and optimizing printer management workflows. Beyond troubleshooting, you will play a key role in IT Service Management (ITSM) expansion projects and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes. This position is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy working with Microsoft environments and want to contribute to the growth of a medium-sized IT infrastructure. The role offers an attractive package including above-tariff pay, holiday and Christmas bonuses, and a permanent contract with the potential for a direct takeover by the client company.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for Systems Integration / Fachinformatiker).
Experience
- Professional experience managing central administration interfaces and automated IT processes in medium-sized environments
- Proven experience in user support and incident pre-qualification
- Routine experience working with standard Microsoft Server and Client products
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and virtualized client environments is preferred
- Experience in system and process documentation
