Job Summary
As an Electrical Service Technician specializing in port machinery, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of container terminals in Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty equipment such as container cranes, straddle carriers, and industrial trucks. You will serve as a primary contact for customers during operational disruptions and assist in supervising the commissioning of new port handling equipment. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals who enjoy technical problem-solving and working on large-scale machinery. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (specializing in Industrial Engineering or Automation Technology), Electronics Technician for Machines and Drive Technology, or Mechatronics Technician.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience is desirable
- Professional experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault clearance of electrical systems
- Experience in supervising construction or commissioning of technical equipment

Additional
- Must be fit for working at heights and physically resilient. Valid Class B driver's license required. Forklift and aerial lift licenses are desirable.
