Job Summary

As an Instrumentation and Control Technician at IFAS in Leuna, you will be responsible for the continuous and preventive maintenance of industrial operational systems. Your daily routine involves conducting cyclical maintenance work, operational checks, and functional monitoring of measuring results. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems by analyzing circuit diagrams, data sheets, and trend analysis software. Beyond technical repairs, you will be tasked with technical documentation revision and the implementation of technical solutions to ensure system reliability. This position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract from day one, a competitive hourly wage up to €21.50, and a €500 welcome bonus. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., as an Electronics Technician, Instrumentation and Control Technician, or equivalent).

Experience

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in electrotechnical maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
Experience in independent and safety-conscious work environments
Experience in analyzing complex systems using data sheets and trend analysis software

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

German language skills at B2 level are mandatory. Mobility is required, preferably with a Class B driver's license. Willingness to work on-site at the Leuna chemical complex.
