Job Summary
As an Automation Technology Specialist at FERCHAU, you will take full responsibility for secondary technology across a variety of construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. Your daily activities involve managing projects from initial technical concept design through to final commissioning. This includes coordinating technical interfaces between internal teams and external partners, overseeing service providers, and performing on-site construction inspections. You will also handle financial aspects such as budget calculation, quality control, and cost monitoring. This role is ideal for proactive professionals who enjoy a mix of technical planning and hands-on site coordination. The position offers a high degree of autonomy within a leading engineering service provider, providing a stable environment with diverse industry exposure and opportunities for professional growth through challenging large-scale projects.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Technology, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in secondary or automation technology is preferred
- Experience in procurement and contracting (Vergabewesen) is advantageous
- Experience in managing external service providers and suppliers
- Proven track record in project execution from concept to commissioning
Languages
Additional
- Valid driver's license (Class B) required; willingness to travel regularly for business (average 2-3 days per week); strong communication and assertiveness required.
