Job Summary
As an Energy Manager for the Structural Engineering and Building Management department, you will lead the establishment and continuous operation of a municipal energy monitoring and controlling system. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing energy consumption data across city properties to identify savings potential and optimizing technical building systems including heating, ventilation, and electrical installations. You will plan and coordinate energy-efficient renovations, support budget planning, and collaborate with external service providers and internal climate protection teams. This three-year project position is ideal for professionals who enjoy technical oversight and strategic reporting. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Energy and Building Technology, Supply Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician/Master Craftsman in HVAC, Supply Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy management and building operations
- In-depth technical knowledge of building service equipment and technical building systems
- Experience in the technical support and operational optimization of building systems
- Experience in cross-departmental collaboration and coordinating with external service providers
- Experience in creating energy reports and evaluations for administrative bodies
