Job Summary
As an HVDC Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the energy transition by planning, developing, and optimizing complex High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the technical design and configuration of HVDC plants, conducting in-depth network analyses to enhance efficiency, and ensuring that all technical components are correctly dimensioned and compliant with industry standards. This role is ideal for an expert in electrical engineering who enjoys technical challenges and wants to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects like grid expansion and offshore energy integration. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or Power Electronics.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in HVDC technology or electrical power transmission
- Proven expertise in power engineering and protection/control systems
- Experience in the technical design and configuration of HVDC plants
- Demonstrated experience in conducting network efficiency analyses
