Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer in Leverkusen, you will play a central role in the development and programming of control systems for custom machinery. Your daily responsibilities include creating PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal, developing intuitive HMI visualizations with WinCC, and conducting rigorous functional testing. A key part of the role involves performing commissioning both in-house and occasionally at international client sites. You will also be responsible for optimizing existing control programs and generating comprehensive technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Degree or completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Control Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming, preferably within the special purpose machinery sector
- Demonstrated experience in developing control systems using Siemens TIA Portal and S7
- Experience in creating user interfaces and visualizations with WinCC
- Experience conducting functional tests and commissioning of industrial equipment

- Occasional national and international travel is required for client site commissioning. Must have a structured and independent working style.
