Job Summary
This role involves the final assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of high-quality magnetic measuring devices within the globally active PCE Instruments Group. Based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of electronic and mechatronic measuring systems, including precise SMD/THT soldering, PCB assembly, and systematic error analysis. A significant portion of the day-to-day work involves quality assurance through rigorous testing, documentation, and calibration. You will also act as a technical interface, collaborating with production management to develop prototypes and implement new device types. This position is particularly attractive due to its flexible 38-hour work week, permanent contract stability, and a modern workplace located directly at a major transit hub. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (for devices and systems or industrial engineering) or Mechatronics Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in electronics or mechatronics assembly and commissioning
- Proven expertise in precision soldering (SMD/THT) and PCB testing
- Experience in systematic troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of electronic devices
- Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation and CAD drawings
- Experience working with mechanical tools and electronic measuring equipment
