Job Summary

As a Lead Linux Systems Engineer, you will take overall responsibility for the operation and continuous optimization of a high-security Trust Center infrastructure, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Registration Authority, and production processes. Your daily work involves designing, automating, and improving configuration and operational workflows, alongside monitoring system availability, performance, and security. You will proactively analyze and resolve incidents while maintaining technical documentation. A key aspect of this role is the professional leadership of a small team, where you will guide, coordinate, and foster the development of team members to ensure effective knowledge transfer. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical IT systems for the German notary system within a modern, non-bureaucratic environment that provides flexible working hours, mobile work options, and a central Berlin location.
