Job Summary
As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will lead the development of complex electromechanical systems and devices from initial concept through to series production. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve designing technical solutions, selecting standard components, and coordinating critical technical interfaces, particularly for PCB and system cabling. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining standards-compliant manufacturing documentation and performing integration tests and commissioning. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with interdisciplinary teams and the management of product data within SAP PLM. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the electrical development of devices and systems
- Proven experience applying technical standards and norms, ideally within the military or defense sector
- Extensive experience using E3.series for cable development
- Proficiency in SAP PLM and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in interdisciplinary project coordination and series production support
