Job Summary
The Municipality of Augustdorf is seeking a dedicated professional to join Department IV (Building, Planning, and Environment) with a focus on road and civil engineering. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of site management and client representation for road construction and public outdoor facilities, including playgrounds and schoolyards. Your daily tasks will involve managing traffic safety obligations for public spaces, updating road development concepts, and coordinating with third-party stakeholders such as utility providers and authorities. You will also play a key role in public procurement processes and the implementation of urban development concepts, specifically the redesign of the town hall surroundings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently on public infrastructure projects while contributing to political committees. Required Skills
Education
Graduate Engineer (TU/FH) or State-Certified Technician specializing in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology, or equivalent professional qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in road construction or civil engineering
- Experience in construction site management and acting as a client representative
- Experience in the procurement of construction, delivery, and service contracts
- Experience in administrative environments and working with political committees is preferred
- Long-term experience in civil engineering tasks for applicants without a specific degree
