Job Summary

As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and operational stability of photovoltaic and energy systems using advanced SCADA and monitoring platforms. Your daily routine involves analyzing performance data, diagnosing technical faults, and performing remote interventions on inverters and grid interfaces. Beyond digital monitoring, you will handle the documentation of system states and generate technical reports. This role uniquely combines office-based analysis with hands-on field work, including the switching and testing of medium-voltage systems and on-site troubleshooting for critical outages. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training in energy, electronics, communications, or industrial plant electronics. Advanced certification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) is preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation, service, or monitoring of energy or industrial plants, preferably in renewable energy
  • Experience in remote access and control of inverters, park controllers, and network interfaces
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical plant components
  • Experience working with medium-voltage systems is highly desirable

  • Must possess or be willing to acquire switching authorization for medium-voltage systems. Willingness to participate in on-call shifts (Rufbereitschaft) and occasional field assignments for on-site troubleshooting is required.
