As a Senior Tax Consultant in Jena, you will take on a leadership role within a successful and expanding interdisciplinary firm. This position moves beyond standard tax declarations, focusing instead on high-level advisory and complex structural planning. You will be responsible for the independent management of sophisticated clients, particularly corporations and corporate groups. Your daily work will involve developing tax optimization models such as holding structures, reorganizations, and succession planning, as well as overseeing foundations and asset management structures. Beyond technical advisory, you will provide professional leadership and quality assurance for your own dedicated team. Required Skills
Education
Successfully passed German Tax Consultant Exam (Steuerberaterprüfung). Additional qualifications such as Specialist Consultant for Succession Planning or Certified Foundation Consultant are desirable.
Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience within a tax consulting firm
- Professional experience in managing complex corporate groups and holding structures
- Experience in tax structuring, including reorganizations and succession solutions
- Professional experience in leading and developing a technical team
- Experience in handling tax audits, appeals, and legal proceedings
