Job Summary
As a Laboratory Quality Assurance Group Coordinator at JTI, you will lead a high-performance testing laboratory focused on the chemical and physical analysis of tobacco products and materials. Your daily responsibilities involve ensuring precise testing in accordance with ISO 17025 and internal quality standards, managing laboratory processes, and overseeing the release of measurement results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You will be responsible for team development, training staff, and coordinating national and international proficiency tests. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in instrumental analytics who enjoys a mix of technical oversight and leadership. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Food Technology) or a related natural science discipline.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a laboratory environment within an international company, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Proven experience in personnel management and leadership
- Extensive experience with instrumental analytics such as GC, HPLC, and NIR
- Professional experience in quality management and ISO standards compliance
- Experience in organizing and evaluating national and international proficiency tests

- The position is based in Trier, Germany. Candidates must be able to work under a flexible flextime model. Experience with SAP and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is required.
