Job Summary

This role involves performing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) on various aircraft at the Leipzig site and various international customer locations. As a member of the HEICO Aircraft Maintenance team, you will be responsible for applying advanced testing methods including Eddy Current (ET), Ultrasonic (UT), Penetrant (PT), and Magnetic Particle (MT) testing in accordance with EN4179 standards. Day-to-day activities include reading and implementing technical manuals in English, conducting quality inspections, and providing detailed technical documentation of all work performed. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working independently within an international environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training or comparable qualification in the metalworking field; NDT certifications according to EN4179 preferred.

Experience

  • Completed technical vocational training or comparable qualification in the metalworking field
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in industry or aviation specifically within non-destructive testing
  • Experience in reading and applying technical manuals and regulations in English
  • Experience in maintenance and care of specialized testing tools
